Sonal L100 ASP Demo

Welcome to the Sonal L100 ASP slide-show. Each slide contains comments.

Clicking 'StockList' in the navigation frame, opens the StockList grid containing details such as Price1, Item, Description etc.

The top of the grid includes a Search form : users can enter one or more criteria to quickly filter the stock data.

Each column heading eg. Item or PrdGrp can be 'clicked' to sort the data in ascending or descending order.

For example, on clicking the Item column...

In the previous slide, the stock records were sorted in ascending order; when clicked, the order is now reversed into descending order with item code TWIN... at the top.

In this slide, we enter parameter CABL in the PrdGrp search box & proceed to press the Search button : the grid is immediately filtered to display items that belong to the CABL product group.

In this demo, we have restricted 20 records per page. The Page Navigation allows easy access to First/Last, Previous/Next pages.

Drill-Down : items in the grid eg. F/PANEL/1M/BLUE contain several underlined fields. Clicking these leads to customised drill-down or related detailed information...

For any given stock record (we'll stay with F/PANEL/1M/BLUE), clicking the records Price1 field (106.99) opens the PriceList grid detailing Price1-5 (as contained in Line100) together with a COMPUTED price 'EuroPrice' which is formula based and is not contained in Line100.

This demonstrates that any number of calculated prices can be added here (just throw away all those spreadsheets!)

On clicking F/PANEL/1M/BLUE in the stock grid, opens the detailed stock record containing a wealth of related information eg. Quantity in Stock breakdown by Depot, SOP allocations etc.

On clicking the QtyInStk, opens the Depots grid detailing the qtyInStk breakdown for any given item by depots

On clicking the QtySOP, opens the SOP (sales orders) allocations grid for this record

On clicking the QtyPOP, opens the POP (purchase orders) allocations grid for this record

In slide 10 we saw the SOP allocations grid. In that grid clicking the Order Number opens the detailed SOP order record : client name, order date, the transactions etc.

This demonstrates how: (a) we carried out a search of stock records; (b) from results, we queried the SOP allocations for the record and (c) from the SOP order number we have obtained the full details for the related sales order.

As per the previous slide : similarly this slide shows detail of a Purchase Order from the POP allocations grid (slide 11)

On clicking PriceList in the navigation frame, opens the PriceList for all stock records.

Note Price1-5 are obtained from Line100 whereas EuroPrice is a computed price. Other prices can be added here.

On clicking Depots in the navigation frame, opens the stock/depot breakdown for all stock records.

On clicking SOPalloc in the navigation frame, opens the SOP (Sales Orders) allocations for all orders.

(Note: clicking the Ord.No. row eg. 0000002180 opens the SOP order detail record - slide 12)

On clicking POPalloc in the navigation frame, opens the POP (Purchase Orders) allocations for all orders.

(Note: clicking the Ord.No. row eg. AP1003 opens the POP order detail record - slide 13)

On clicking Bank Accounts in the navigation frame, opens the Bank Accounts Grid...

This concludes the slide presentation. Note that:

(1) any data in Sage Line50, Line100, Payroll and Access can be queried by ASP (active server pages);

(2) the data presented is 'live' data ;

(3) does NOT require the additional licensing/cost incurred in implementing other reporting solutions namely Crystal Reports, Microsoft Access and so on.

(4) Easy to Use

In summary, accurate 'live' data, cost-effective & easy to use !
