By sharing modems from your Small Business Server, occasional modem users no longer need individual modems for their computers. This means your business can get the most from your modems and phone lines.
What happens if someone else is using a shared modem? You can share up to four modems in a modem pool. If someone else is using a modem, Small Business Server automatically selects a modem that is available. You can pool modems to be used for faxing and for dialing to an outside online service.
